Johanna Gabbard

Singer-Songwriter/Vocals/Guitar
Born and raised in Ventura County with segments of her early years spent in Hawaii and American Samoa, Johanna was heavily influenced by the strong cultural and church harmonies of her island ancestry. Their musical and lyrical ideas shaped her songwriting direction. Skillfully fusing their influences into her unique musical genre and subtle social messaging, Johanna plays to express her belief in social connection and awareness. She has played at various intimate venues in Southern California, Idaho, Georgia, Texas, and Germany. Johanna completed her AA degree in Music and General Music Studies certificate from Berklee College of Music. She continues to hone her craft by performing, songwriting and collaborating with musicians and songwriters who share her passion.
Dennis Clark

Guitar/Steel Guitar/Bass
A native of Los Angeles, Dennis adds an exciting dimension to Gabby Hanna with his LA musical influences and energy. As a bassist he's played with Needles and Pins (Rhino Records), the Robert Stoddard Band (Elektra) and Jack Lee (Lolita Alive Records). Rediscovering his acoustic roots, he delved into finger-style and slide guitar and added these to his musical toolbox. These new interests led to the formation of an acoustic band, The Standards, which became an LA fixture for years until Covid happened. Relocating to Ventura, he began teaching guitar lessons of which one of his students was Jen Johnson. The rest is history and he is excited to be a part of the music journey of Gabby Hanna.
